Have you ever turned the volume down on your keyboard and listened to how loud your keys are by themselves? Not listening to the note they play but just hearing them thump when you press them down? Mine are way too loud when I have the keyboard turned off.  When you go shopping for a new keyboard, be sure to put the volume all the way down and listen to how loud the keys are when you play and no sound comes out. It is really annoying when you record yourself playing on camera and even with the sounds of the notes coming into your ears loudly you still hear the keys hitting as you push them down hard. Most people seem to overlook this by never thinking about it. I realized when I recorded on my camcorder for the first time.

Of course the most realistic ones with quiet hammer action will cost you, but the keys will feel more realistic when you play them. You just need to decide if it’s worth it.
